"Lord, I have no one."

Those four words are spoken more often than we realize.

Every year, elderly and vulnerable men are found abandoned on railway platforms, in hospital corridors, on busy streets, and in public places. Some are too weak to speak. Others have been forgotten by family, displaced by poverty, or left without anyone to care for them.

For many, there is no one waiting. No one searching. No one to take them home.

Get in Touch

Who we are

Preethi Nivas Trust exists to answer that one heartbreaking sentence. We give them a name again — a bed, food, medicine, and, when the time comes, a dignified end.

We believe that every human being deserves dignity, compassion, and the comfort of knowing they are not alone. Our mission is to restore hope to men who have nowhere else to turn by providing a safe home and compassionate care.

Inside Preethi Nivas, that changes. Men are washed, fed, medically cared for, and treated as residents of a home rather than cases in a system — through recovery, through old age, and, for many, through their final days.

Preethi Nivas Trust is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities through compassionate service, inclusive development, and sustainable social initiatives. Established with the vision of creating a society where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and purpose, the Trust works to address the social, educational, and economic challenges faced by underserved communities.

Our programs focus on promoting quality education, accessible healthcare, women and child empowerment, livelihood development, community welfare, and support for vulnerable individuals and families. We believe that lasting change begins with empowering people through knowledge, opportunity, and collective action.

At Preethi Nivas Trust, we collaborate with volunteers, donors, institutions, corporate partners, and local communities to design and implement meaningful initiatives that create long-term impact. Every project is guided by the principles of integrity, transparency, accountability, and respect for human dignity.

Our approach goes beyond providing immediate assistance. We strive to build self-reliance, strengthen communities, and create sustainable solutions that enable individuals to improve their quality of life. Through awareness programs, skill development, health camps, educational support, and community outreach activities, we aim to foster positive social transformation.

Driven by compassion and a commitment to service, Preethi Nivas Trust believes that every act of kindness contributes to building stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities. As we continue our journey, we remain dedicated to making a meaningful difference and inspiring hope for a better future for all.

What we're asking for - Multi Purpose Vehicle

For the men we serve, the journey to safety often begins on a pavement, in a government hospital, at a railway station, or after a call from the police or a concerned citizen. Many are elderly, frail, injured, or unable to walk. Some require immediate medical attention before they can even be brought to the safety of our home.

A dedicated Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) is not a convenience—it is a lifeline.

Today, every rescue depends on borrowed vehicles, hired transport, or the goodwill of volunteers. These arrangements are often unavailable when emergencies arise, causing critical delays in reaching people who cannot wait.

A dedicated MPV would enable Preethi Nivas Trust to:

  • Respond quickly to rescue calls from hospitals, police stations, railway authorities, and members of the public.
  • Safely transport elderly and abandoned men to the Trust for shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation.
  • Transfer residents to hospitals for emergency treatment, medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up care.
  • Deliver food, medicines, medical equipment, clothing, and other essential supplies to support the daily operations of the home.
  • Support outreach activities, community engagement, and coordination with partner organizations.

Every rescue begins with transportation. Without a reliable vehicle, many vulnerable individuals remain where they were found—hungry, sick, frightened, and alone.

A dedicated MPV will help us respond with compassion when every minute matters. It will allow us to reach those who have no one else to call, ensuring they receive care, dignity, and the opportunity to begin life anew.

A Palliative Care Hall

Not every resident who comes to Preethi Nivas Trust arrives with the hope of recovery. Many are rescued after years of abandonment, chronic illness, disability, or neglect. By the time they reach us, they are often in the final stages of life, with complex medical needs and no family to comfort them.

Every person deserves to spend their last days in peace, with dignity, compassion, and human presence.

To make this possible, Preethi Nivas Trust seeks to establish a dedicated Palliative Care Hall—a calm, purpose-built space where terminally ill and dying destitute men can receive individualized, compassionate care in comfort and privacy.

At present, residents requiring end-of-life care are accommodated within shared living areas. While our caregivers do everything possible to provide comfort, the existing arrangements limit privacy, quiet, and the specialized environment that palliative care requires.

A dedicated Palliative Care Hall will provide:

  • Individual care spaces for residents in their final days.
  • A peaceful, quiet environment that promotes comfort and dignity.
  • Compassionate nursing and palliative support focused on pain relief and symptom management.
  • Space for caregivers, medical professionals, volunteers, and spiritual caregivers to provide uninterrupted support.
  • Greater privacy for residents and respect for their emotional and physical needs.

For many of the men in our care, there is no family to sit beside them, hold their hand, or remember their name. They have outlived relationships, been abandoned, or simply have no one left.

This hall will become the place where compassion replaces loneliness.

Here, every resident will be treated not as an abandoned person, but as a valued human being whose life matters until its very last moment. No one should spend their final hours in fear, isolation, or neglect.

A dedicated Palliative Care Hall is more than an infrastructure project—it is a commitment to honour the dignity of every life. It ensures that those who have experienced abandonment are surrounded instead by kindness, professional care, and respect.

Your support will help create a sanctuary where every person receives comfort, every life is valued, and every farewell is marked by compassion.

Because no one should leave this world alone.

Built on Purpose. Sustained by Responsible Partnerships.
